Last month, GB Atelier received planning approval for a renovation project in Cootehall, Co. Roscommon. The project involves the renovation of a two-storey detached house with both ground and first-floor extensions.
Project Overview
The scope of work includes an open-plan kitchen and dining area, replacement of the front porch, selective partition removal, floor upgrades with underfloor heating, and the replacement of all doors and windows. The development also includes a rear ground-floor extension with a flat roof and Velux roof-lights, providing abundant natural light to the living space. Additionally, a first-floor extension with a pitched roof will be added, enhancing the property’s overall footprint.
To complement the modern updates, the exterior of the house will feature timber cladding, which will seamlessly blend with the surrounding landscape. A new patio area will be created to improve outdoor connectivity, providing an ideal space for relaxation and entertainment.
