We are excited to share that earlier this month, GB Atelier received planning approval for a significant renovation project at Patrick Street, Boyle, Co. Roscommon. The project involves renovating the rear building and extending the first floor of a historic mixed-use building to create two one-bedroom apartments.

Project Overview

This development will breathe new life into the historic building while preserving its character. The work includes the renovation of the rear section of the building, along with the addition of a first-floor extension. This transformation will result in two modern one-bedroom apartments, offering much-needed residential accommodation in the area.

In addition to the building work, all associated site development works will be carried out to ensure the development integrates seamlessly with its surroundings. The project will meet modern standards while maintaining the integrity of the historic structure.

Looking Ahead

This renovation project in Boyle is an excellent example of how we can sensitively update historic buildings while maintaining their charm and functionality. We are excited to see this space transform into two modern apartments that will contribute to the community’s housing needs.
